    Developmental Soccer

    For SPRING 2020 DEVELOPMENTAL SOCCER

    cost is $125 for approximately10 hours of developmental soccer.  Registration will open in January. 

    Developmental Soccer will begin in April.

    ALL PLAYERS ARE AUTOMATICALLY PUT ON A WAIT LIST UNTIL THE CLUB ACCEPTS THEM!

    PLEASE make sure you click the event and continue the registration until you get to the end.  You WILL receive an email stating that your child is on a wait list.  If you do not get an email, they are not registered.

    Payment is due AFTER your child is accepted.

    HIGH SCHOOL SPRING 2020 TEAMS

    U-16 and Up Registration for High School Soccer Players will open up on October 1, 2019 for spring 2020 Travel Soccer Teams.   If you are a returning player, please use the MEMBER ACCOUNT you set up with your email last year.  It will save you time in registering.

     

    Any player playing on another travel soccer team (not a public HS or private HS team) or is planning on being a secondary player to WPSA, please contact Barbara Fitzgerald BEFORE registering.  You do NOT register through the on-line system.

     

     

    All players registering are required to pay the $15 non refundable tryout/deposit fee.  

     

    ALL High School players are required to give WPSA a $100 security check to cover any possible fines the team may incure. This will be collected BEFORE your pass is made. Checks are only cashed if the team has a fine.  Otherwise, at the end of the season the checks are shredded.

     

    High School age players are recommended to play on high school level teams in the spring season.

     

    NEW POLICY - ALL players once accepted will need to go back in to their MEMBER ACCOUNT and ACCEPT their team assignment.  The balance of $170 will be due at this time.

    RETURNING PLAYERS -
    1.) PLEASE use the account you created last year to register on the MEMBER LOGIN TAB.  Please do NOT create a new account.  This will save you time when registering. 


    2.)  Please make sure you go through ALL registration pages until you get to the end. ALL players registering for WPSA are required to pay a non-refundable $15 tryout/deposit fee immediately upon registering.  The balance is due later.  Please make sure you receive a CONFIRMATION email once you complete the registration.


    3.) REGISTER BY THE PLAYERS DATE OF BIRTH, not team. 


    4.) UPDATE! - Once the club assigns the player to a team, you will receive a notice.  You will need to ACCEPT the player's team assignment.  This is a NEW step! This is when the balance of the money is due.  


    5.) Once accepted to a team no refunds are given.


    6.) Any player wishing to play for TWO different clubs, must have special permission. Please make sure you ask your primary club the correct procedure BEFORE registering or contact Barbara Fitzgerald at sheffieldfitz@optonline.net


    7.) No player will be passed to play until they are paid in full or other arrangements made.

    8.)  Uniforms are extra.  You will need to order under the MERCHANDISE TAB.

     

    NEW PLAYERS TO WPSA -


    1.  Go on the registration page and register in the correct event.  You will set up an A MEMBER ACCOUNT with your email and password.  Please keep this as you will need it in the future to pay etc.

    2. Please see #2 through 8 above as they pertain to any new player to WPSA also.

    Welcome to Online Registration


    Registering online is easy and quick!
    Just follow these simple steps:

    CREATE YOUR NEW MEMBER ACCOUNT
    After clicking the Register Now button, you'll be asked to create a new member account if you do not already have one. Simply click the 'Create a new Bonzi Account' tab when asked to log in to the registration system.
    COMPLETE PARENT INFORMATION
    After you create your new member account, you'll need to fill out the parent/guardian form with your family information.
    COMPLETE PLAYER REGISTRATION
    Choose the age group for your player and then fill out the player information. After you fill out the player form and click Next, you'll be asked if you want to add more players or to finish registration and pay.
    CHOOSE YOUR PAYMENT
    After you've filled in your parent and player information, you'll see your total fees and can choose to pay by debit or credit card.
    Note: No credit card information is EVER stored on our computers and all information is encrypted for your security.

    RETURN TO YOUR MEMBER ACCOUNT
    Once you return to your member account, you will need to upload a copy of your child's county birth certificate or passport and a color photo of their face (no hats or sunglasses). This will need to be completed before your child can be assigned to a team.

    INFO FOR TRAVEL SOCCER
    1. Practices are usually 2 days per week. Some coaches may want a 3rd practice.

    2. Practices are usually 1.5 hours long.

    3. Usually 1 practice is with a trainer (included in price) and 1 is with the team coaches.

    4. Trainers are for most elementary and middle school teams.

    5. Games are usually on Sunday. Rain outs and preseason approved conflicts may be played on other days.

    6. Players are expected to be at all practices & games unless they have notified their coach.

    6. Communication is key between parents and coaches.

    7. Teams playing a different league than MCYSA will pay more once the team is formed. (You will be notified in advance)

    8. Teams having trainers as a coach on game day will pay more to cover the cost of the trainer. (You will be notified in advance)

    9. Teams having a trainer for ALL practices will pay more to cover the cost of the trainer. (You will be notified in advance)
